Best of 2015

So I am a bit late to the party but Happy New Year guys!! I hope you all enjoyed the celebrations!
2015 has been a pretty good year for me, so I wanted to do a little round up and document all my favourite bits.

Lake Bled Slovenia

Last Term at Uni
Although it was emotional saying goodbye and I still miss Newcastle all the time, the last 6 months at University were by far the best. Living with 3 of your best friends is so much fun and we shared a lot of fab times together. I celebrated my 21st in March, but I think my friends 21st at the end of term was a highlight. We organised a surprise bouncy castle to take over our back garden for the day and had one final farewell party with all our close friends, before heading into Newcastle at night. The weather was gorgeous, so the following day we spent sunbathing and eating fish and chips on Tynemouth beach, the best hangover cure.

Graduation
In July I graduated with a First Class Honors Degree and I was over the moon!! I couldn't quite believe it but what made it even more special was that I got to share the day with all my close Uni girls as we were on holiday together in Portugal when we found out the news. We were all very happy as you can imagine so there was lots of girls screaming around a pool followed by lots of cocktails to celebrate!

Graduation day itself was filled with more celebrations back in Newcastle with friends and family and was just the perfect end to the best three years. Cliche I know, but it's true.

Inter-railing
After Graduation I went inter-railing around Europe with 3 fab girls and had the most incredible time! From Rome to Amsterdam, we visited 10 countries in total and somehow always managed to find ourselves in hilarious situations and made some pretty cool friends along the way. We already plan to go back to Croatia this summer and I really hope that this happens!

So  cheers to 2016 and lets hope it will be filled with lots more happiness, fun and adventures!

London Trip

Helloo, I've been on a little get away with my mum...to London. She treated me to tickets to see the show Les Miserable on the west end, it’s our fave musical and I cannot describe how amazing it was. We also did some sightseeing, plenty of shopping (I will do a haul) and indulged ourselves with lots of yummy food.

We stayed in a hotel just off Piccadilly Circus, so we were right in the centre of everything and the city really was alive and buzzing. We were lucky with the weather, sunshine on both days and we could happily walk everywhere, although my feet are definitely feeling it now.

We spent most of the first day around Covent Garden, browsing all the lovely shops, having lunch and generally enjoying the atmosphere on the streets.

Amazing artwork done with biro pen

Les Miserable was performed at the Queens Theatre, its quite a small theatre but I liked this as it felt more intimate and with our seats on the second row, we could see everything. The cast were insane, the set was fantastic and I loved every minute of it. I would even go as far to say it is probably the best thing I've ever seen!

Do you hear the people sing? (i'm still singing the songs)

On the second day we explored London some more and mainly shopped and looked around all the fancy shops like Fortnum and Mason, liberty’s and Harrods. We got coffee outside in the sun on Carnaby Street and it was the perfect spot for people watching, we could have spent hours there.

Before it was time to get the train home, with food on our minds we stumbled upon the restaurant ‘Bill’s’ in the area of Soho, it was cosy and inviting and the decor was quirky and fun. The food itself was yummy, we both opted for the chicken and chorizo burgers with their skinny fries and we were very impressed, I'm now hoping they have this place in Newcastle!
Dream burger mmm
Further down the road was ‘Snog’ which serves frozen yoghurt with a choice of delicious toppings, I couldn't resist trying this with a squirt of chocolate sauce and it was the perfect end to our little trip.

Sunny Mallorca

So, I have recently arrived back to England(sob)after a fab two weeks in Spain with my family.I was so happy to get away and basically spent the majority of my time lying on beaches lapping up the Spanish rays. I LOVE the beach, the sand, the sea, and I just love swimming in the ocean without a care in the world. I think it has something to do with me being a Pisces?

It wasn’t all tanning… we did some exploring too, visiting neighbouring towns, going to Formentor which is the furthest point of the bay and has a beautiful beach with clear blue seas. We visited the markets where there is always a good bargain up for grab, however disappointingly this year I didn't buy anything and this was the same when we visited Palma,I was more content just browsing the streets and looking at what the city had to offer. Oh I did pick up a lipstick at Sephora to add to my ongoing lipstick collection..I couldn't resist.

The highlight of my holiday had to be riding on jet skis, it was amazing!! We spent an hour just speeding all over the bay and because we had chosen an early slot the waters were really calm and we could go super fast. That’s another thing about me, give me anything fast and filled with adrenaline,I’m there!

Here are a few random snaps including some holiday outfits…
