Best of 2015

So I am a bit late to the party but Happy New Year guys!! I hope you all enjoyed the celebrations!
2015 has been a pretty good year for me, so I wanted to do a little round up and document all my favourite bits.

Lake Bled Slovenia

Last Term at Uni
Although it was emotional saying goodbye and I still miss Newcastle all the time, the last 6 months at University were by far the best. Living with 3 of your best friends is so much fun and we shared a lot of fab times together. I celebrated my 21st in March, but I think my friends 21st at the end of term was a highlight. We organised a surprise bouncy castle to take over our back garden for the day and had one final farewell party with all our close friends, before heading into Newcastle at night. The weather was gorgeous, so the following day we spent sunbathing and eating fish and chips on Tynemouth beach, the best hangover cure.

Graduation
In July I graduated with a First Class Honors Degree and I was over the moon!! I couldn't quite believe it but what made it even more special was that I got to share the day with all my close Uni girls as we were on holiday together in Portugal when we found out the news. We were all very happy as you can imagine so there was lots of girls screaming around a pool followed by lots of cocktails to celebrate!

Graduation day itself was filled with more celebrations back in Newcastle with friends and family and was just the perfect end to the best three years. Cliche I know, but it's true.

Inter-railing
After Graduation I went inter-railing around Europe with 3 fab girls and had the most incredible time! From Rome to Amsterdam, we visited 10 countries in total and somehow always managed to find ourselves in hilarious situations and made some pretty cool friends along the way. We already plan to go back to Croatia this summer and I really hope that this happens!

So  cheers to 2016 and lets hope it will be filled with lots more happiness, fun and adventures!

Friends 21st- Music video to Taylor Swift's Shake it Off

Hello lovelies, So for the past three weeks me and my friend have been busy putting together this surprise music video for one of our best friends 21st Birthday. We managed to get all the people she loved together in one big video and gave everyone bits of the song to lip sync. We decided on one of our friends favourite songs 'Shake it Off', and it is the perfect song to get people dancing too. We kept it a secret all along and had to sneakily film parts of the video whenever we got the chance, it was very exciting but it did begin start to take over my life, listening to Taylor swift on repeat and ideas for the video whizzing around my head. When we showed her the final video I think she nearly shed a tear with happiness and it was great to see, after keeping it a surprise for so long. I have watched it about 50 times already and it just never gets old..

Have a watch and hopefully it will put a smile on your face as it does to me everytime I watch:)
let me know what you think?

Simple things

Hellooo so I said I would do a post on all the simple things in life that make me happy and probably make you guys happy too!
  • When your favourite song comes on the radio
  • Waking up and realising you still have hours left to sleep
  • Finding money somewhere that you forgot about
  • The sound of rain on your window when you are all cosy inside
  • Writing lists and then being able to cross things off
  • Smell of baking in an oven
  • Taking off your bra (oh the joy!)
  • Laughing so hard that your tummy hurts
  • Wearing pj’s all day and binge watching tv (I’m sure we have all been there)
  • The feel of sand on your toes
  • Opening up my duvet and my cat snuggles up against me
  • A cup of tea and a slice of cake mmmm (preferably whilst watching the Great British Bake off)

Meet my cat Tabitha shes a cutie

Do any of these things make you happy also or is it just me?

Sunday QOTD

This quote is so true, I think its easy to overlook the little things as people put more and more emphasis on the 'big things' in life but life is made up of moments and its these small moments that really add up. We need to appreciate the little things such as a hug from our loved ones or a phone call with a friend as these are the things we will miss when they are gone.
I think I will do a post later this week on all the little things that make me happy :)

Sunday-Quote of the day

can Sunday quote day be a thing?
well I love a good quote they are so hopeful and inspiring and I really believe they can instantly change your mood and perspective on life.
So I start with one of my fave quotes by the beautiful, wise and talented lady... Audrey Hepburn.

I believe she is right

I hope this puts a smile on your face, as much as it does me and I hope it reminds you to laugh and be happy and enjoy your life!
