How time flies! I can’t quite believe I am 20 years old and
have finished my 2nd year at Uni! Its gone waaay too quickly and the
fact I will be entering my final year at university in September scares me
A LOT, as the prospect of leaving my fab little uni bubble and entering the real
world is rather daunting. Why can’t I stay at uni forever? :(
You often hear the cliché saying that University is ‘the
best 3 years of your life’ and I don’t think they are lying. In the past two
years I have met some amazing people that will hopefully be friends for life
and we have shared some right good laughs along the way.
A highlight of second year has to be TOUR!
Not knowing what to expect and slightly anxious after
hearing stories from previous years it definitely lived up to the expectations
of being the funniest week. I travelled to Croatia with the dance society and
it was such a perfect way to bond and get closer to everyone especially as we
were all faced with hilarious challenges and a different fancy dress theme
every night. With the hotel taken over by students from all different
universities across the UK to create a huge sports fam and with plenty of sun
and booze, what more could you want? I would urge anyone given the opportunity,
to take it you will not regret it!
Here we are loving life as cave girls
Onto the less exciting part of Uni life… the actual course. I
study Accounting and Finance(don’t ask why)and although the course has made
me wanna cry half the time due to the terrifying 100% exams,I am super relieved to have found
out that I passed second year with a 2:1
yay, so I guess hard work does pay off. I am now free for the rest of the
summer where I can relax, chill and tan to my hearts content.
Much love
Mazzle xo
